WILMINGTON, MA — Here are ELEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 23, 2017:
- A caller reported a white male, in his early 20’s, staggering down Grove Avenue, towards the lake, carrying a shoe. Police located man on Wild Avenue and transported him home. Fire Department evaluated an injured ankle. (12:00am)
- Police sent four individuals on their way from the skate park at the Shawsheen. (2:09am)
- Police notified DPW of a tree blocking the roadway at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. (7:25am)
- Police notified DPW of a large bee nest in barrel at the Town Beach’s gate. Officer was stung. (8:01am)
- A Winston Avenue caller reported a credit card fraud. (10:37am)
- A Brattle Street resident reported his unlocked vehicle was entered on Friday night. Nothing was taken. He wanted the incident logged. (11:29am)
- Police advised man to stop walking on train tracks at Middlesex Avenue. (12:10am)
- A gray 2005 Toyota Corolla and a gray 2011 Toyota Corolla were involved in a crash on Main Street. Fire Department transported one individual. Both vehicles towed. (1:20pm)
- Fire Department responded to a deck fire on Reed Street. (5:27pm)
- A Park Street caller witnessed his neighbor get chased by a fox. Neighbor ran into his house. (5:49pm)
- A caller reported a coyote killed one of his chickens about an hour ago. Caller left message for Animal Control Officer. (7:20pm)
