10 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (July 20, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, July 20, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 90. West wind 5 to 7 mph.

#2) The Lowell Spinners are celebrating Wilmington at tonight’s 7pm game at LeLeacher Park in Lowell. Organized by the Wilmington Rotary Club, the event will include former Selectwoman Judy O’Connell throwing out the opening pitch. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5:30pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

#4) Larry Gilbert performs at Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) beginning at 6pm.

#5) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding SEVEN programs today:

  • Baby Times (9:30am-10:15am)
  • Painting with Acrylic Workshop (10am-noon)
  • Time For Twos (10:30am-11:15am)
  • Jazzin’ The Blues (2:30pm-3:30pm)
  • Build A Better House: Minecraft Challenge (3pm-3:45pm & 4pm-4:45pm)
  • Novel Ideas Book Group (7pm-8:30pm)

#6) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Thursday activities:

  • Bocce (9:30am)
  • Art Class (10am)
  • Aerobics (10:30am)
  • Knitting (11am)
