POLICE LOG for July 14: Jeep Rollover; Unwelcomed Visitor; Solicitor Complaints

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, July 14, 2017:

  • State Police responded to a black 2004 Jeep Wrangler rollover on 93 North Exit 40 on-ramp. (12:32am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the TJ Maxx parking lot. (11:33am)
  • Police conducted a check of the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility and had conversation with party regarding no smoking on town-owned property. (1:02pm)
  • Police received a call regarding a Verizon solicitor on Lawrence Street. Police located the solicitor and advised him to stop. (2:36pm)
  • A caller reported a past hit and run.  Caller was unsure if it happened in the Chili’s parking lot or in the As Good As It Gets parking lot. (5:08pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the MPH sign on Main Street, near Border Avenue, is completely obstructed. (6:49pm)
  • A Foxrun Drive resident reported a shovel went missing from his yard last week and a pair of glasses was found on an outside window sill.  Resident believed someone has been in his yard without his permission. Caller asked the incident be logged. (7:47pm)
