POLICE LOG for July 12: Police Investigate Motorcycle Maniac; New Hampshire Man Issued Summons

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, July 12, 2017:

  • State Police stopped a silver 2000 Chevy Blazer on 93 North, near Exit 40. Vehicle was stopped in connection with a robbery. (5:52am)
  • Satish Kumar Kothapally (23, Nashua, NH) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. (6:18am)
  • Tewksbury Police was in pursuit of a black motorcycle at a high rate of speed. Motorcyclist entered Wilmington.  Wilmington Police located motorcycle in a Glen Road driveway, but was unable to locate operator.  Bike was towed. Family member of operator will have him come down to station later in the day. (6:56am)
  • Police notified DPW of potholes reforming on Hopkins Street. (8:45am)
  • Police installed 9 car seats during its weekly drop-in hours.
  • Police issued 2 parking citations in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. (11:07am)
  • Police notified DPW of a boulder knocked into the roadway by a tractor trailer on Ballardvale Street. (4:12pm)
