POLICE LOG for July 7: Wilmington Man Arrested For OUI Crash

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, July 7, 2017:

  • Police kept the peace while the town engineering department checked a property line on Somerville Avenue. Fence will need to be removed because it is on a paper street. (10:34am)
  • A Lowell Street caller reported some rang their doorbell and walked away towards Cross Street. Police located man, who was soliciting for Verizon.  He was advised of the town bylaws and agreed to stop. (1:48pm)
  • A passerby reported a family of ducks by a storm drain on Lowell Street. Caller believes one may have fallen in.  Police checked drains. All clear. (1:59pm)
  • A walk-in party reported her nephew was missing. (3:08pm)
  • A Lawrence Street resident reported a Craigslist scam. (5:22pm)
  • A white 2004 Cadillac rear-ended a red 2016 Mercedes pulling into Rocco’s. (6:31pm)
  • A Glendale Circle caller reported her grandfather has some skunks in his traps in the backyard and would like to know how to relocate them. (6:47pm)
  • Richard M. Paglicua (59, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of Motor Vehicle; and Unsafe Operation of Motor Vehicle. Paglicua struck a pole on Middlesex Avenue. (7:53pm)
  • A black 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was cited for not pulling to the right for an emergency vehicle on Middlesex Avenue. (7:59pm)
