SENIOR CENTER SPOTLIGHT: Center Seeks Fan Donations; Successful Homebound Delivery Meal Held

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Senior Center is running its annual “Fan Drive” to donate fans to seniors in need during the hot summer months.  If you know anyone in need of a fan or air conditioner, call the Center at 978-657-7595.

The Wilmington Senior Center conducted a successful homebound delivery meal program on Tuesday, June 27.  90 lunch box meals from Sunrise Kitchen were distributed to appreciative seniors at their homes around town.  Volunteers included: Mary D’Eon, Grace Mullens, Maureen Fiorenza, Marilyn West, Susan Bibber, Pat Spur, Joan Forestiere, Christine Murphy, Hazel Proto and Dot Getty.

The Wilmington Senior Center has organized a trip to the Cathedral of the Pines on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. The trip costs $50. Sign-ups begin at the Center’s Front Desk on Tuesday, August 8 at 10am.
