VIDEO: Watch The Wilmington Minutemen’s 2017 Flag Retirement Ceremony

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Minutemen held its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Minutemen Headquarters, behind the Harnden Tavern.

Minutemen properly disposed of worn or damaged American flags they collected over the past year.

Residents were invited to bring flags to the ceremony.  Residents can also drop off flags, year-round, in the marked boxes at the Wilmington Town Hall and the Wilmington Post Office.
