WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 2, 2017:
- A caller reported he hit a deer on Woburn Street. Vehicle was towed by AAA. (3:49am)
- A man stole a scratch ticket from the Wilmington Shell gas station and fled on Route 129 toward Reading. Police requested security tapes. (3:58am)
- A West Street resident reported their truck was stolen this morning between 1:30am and 4:30am. A BOLO was issued. (5:13am)
- John Farrell (29, Lowell) was arrested for receiving stolen property (+$250), B&E in the nighttime for committing a felony, and larceny over $250. Arrested was related to a vehicle break-in on Horseshoe Lane overnight. (7:33am)
- A Sheldon Avenue resident reported vandalism — a damaged fence and knocked over mailbox — overnight. (9:33am)
- A Suncrest Avenue caller reported his vehicle was gone through overnight. Vehicle was unlocked. $2 in change was taken. (10:32am)
- 3 additional vehicles on Suncrest Avenue and 3 on Ledgewood Avenue were entered overnight. $20 in loose cash and $150 restaurant gift card were taken. (11:51am)
- A caller reported two 17-year-old girls threw rocks at her vehicle on Cunningham Street. Asked that an officer speak with them. Police were unable to locate. (7:11pm)
- Paul D. Stott (41, Woburn) was taken into protective custody. (8:33pm)
- A Warren Road resident reported his vehicle was entered sometime overnight and spare change was taken. (8:55pm)
