WILMINGTON, MA — At its meeting on Wednesday, June 14, the Wilmington School Committee accepted a donation of $6,406 from the Wilmington Educational Foundation (WEF).
The Foundation provided the following seven grants, totaling $4,163, via its Technology Grant Program:
- Marissa Bello – Middle School Psychologist – 1 iPad with Social Skills Apps ($500)
- Carlos-Luis Brown – World Languages CTL – Subscription to PearDeck, Bablingua & Quizlet ($235)
- Jalisa Butler & Alyssa Camire – Shawsheen SEPD Teachers – 2 OSMO Explorer Kits ($378)
- Carroll Conquest – WSS Art Teacher – 6 ASUS ZenPad Tablets, Cases & Accessories ($993)
- Diana Hill & Danielle Frances – WHS SPED Teachers – News 2 You Unique Learning Systems Licenses ($958)
- Susan MacDonald – ESL CTL – Moby Max License ($99)
- Jill Reynolds – North 4th Grade Teacher – 20 Kindle Fires (to be shared among various classrooms) ($1,000)
The Foundation also provided the following two music-based grants, totaling $2,243.53, via its Miscellaneous Grant Program:
- Samantha Prindiville – WMS Music Teacher – 10 Acoustic Guitars & Bags ($743.54)
- Roxanne Rene – Shawsheen Music Teacher – 3 Xylophones ($1,500)
