POLICE LOG for June 16: OUI Arrest; 2 Summons Issued; Possible Cemetery Theft

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 16, 2017:

  • A Main Street homeowner reported someone just smashed a glass bottle in the roadway in front of his house. (12:10am)
  • Jordan Marchesi (27, Wilmington) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle, and no or expired inspection sticker. (1:03am)
  • A Main Street resident reported a male party was sitting in a lawn chair on his front lawn looking at his house. Caller had video of the man on his property. Police located the man in question  at Main Street and Adams Street in Tewksbury.  Chairs were returned to a house on Grove Avenue. Man was sent on his way. (1:29am)
  • Scott E. Kearns (37, Stoneham) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. (11:56am)
  • A caller reported a small bird bath and ceramic garden stepping stone were missing from a family member’s grave in the Wildwood Cemetery. Caller was unsure if they were stolen or removed by cemetery staff for being against the rules. (4:18pm)
  • Adamu Amadu (46, Lowell) was arrested on an OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Marked Lanes Violation. The erratic operator was called in by an off-duty officer. (10:04pm)
