WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington’s RadioShack, located in the Wilmington Plaza, is closing on Friday, June 30, according to a store employee.
The location currently has a “store closing” banner above its entrance, with all merchandise on clearance for up to 80% off. Even the store’s fixtures and furniture are for sale. All purchases are final with no returns.
Wilmington’s location was one of just 70 company-owned RadioShacks nationwide that remained open after more than 1,000 locations closed in May. RadioShack’s parent company — General Wireless Operations — filed for bankruptcy in March.
