POLICE LOG for June 11: Bad Crash On Woburn Street; Purse Stolen From Car

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 11, 2017:

  • A green 2003 Toyota Corolla struck a pole on Woburn Street.  Unknown injuries. Fire Department responded.  Police checked availability of State Police Accident Reconstruction Team and Medflight. RMLD and Verizon notified. Vehicle towed. (3:56am)
  • MBTA Police requested an officer check the Lake Street train bridge to check for youths throwing rocks onto tracks and at passing trains.  Police located 3 youths outside Uncle Mickey’s.  They denied any knowledge. (6:51am)
  • A caller reported a drain cover sticking up in the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru on Main Street.  Management put out a cone for time being. (10:53am)
  • A driver’s boat fell off his tow hitch, causing traffic issues on Middlesex Avenue. (11:35am)
  • A resident reported she received notification from Post Office that someone attempted to forward her mail to Florida.  Someone also attempted to open a credit car in her name. (12:59pm)
  • A Burnap Street resident reported her purse was taken out of her vehicle last night. (5:19pm)
  • A child’s green Avico bike was found in the water at Rotary Park. (8:26pm)
  • Fire Department and State Police responded to car fire on 93 South Exit 39 ramp. (8:35pm)
