WILMINGTON, MA — On Friday, June 2, Wilmington High School’s Class of 2017 was honored at Scholarship Night. Groups from across town came out to recognize student achievement and award scholarship money for college expenses.
WCTV handed out six scholarships this year, ranging from $750 to $1500. Recipients were selected by the Board of Directors and included five students at Wilmington High School and one from Arlington Catholic High School. They were:
Wilmington High School
- Sophie Consorti – attending University of Vermont
- Jason Dunn – attending Colby College
- Justin Ekstrom – attending UMass Amherst
- Jared McGowan – attending Roger Williams University
- Frank West – attending Salem State University
Arlington Catholic High School
- Rose Roche – attending Saint Anselm College
