WILMINGTON, MA — Samuel E. Pica, Sr., age 91, of Wilmington, passed away on May 12, 2017, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
Samuel was the beloved husband of the late Ida L. (Goodwin) Pica, devoted father of Samuel E. Pica, Jr., Sandra (Pica) Goodwin, Ann (Pica) McGaffigan, Marilyn (Pica) Small, and the late Robert Pica. Loving “Papa” of 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Samuel was the cherished son of the late Angelo and Carmela (Vincenzo) Pica and the dear brother of Rose Ames of Woburn.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service at the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, on Tuesday, May 16th at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Samuel’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Strest, Framingham, MA 01701.
