POLICE LOG for May 7: Bonfire Behind Dog Park; Needle In Parking Lot; Car Delivered To Wrong Home

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 7, 2017:

  • Brandon M. Asamoah (24, Woburn) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked registration and having an uninsured motor vehicle. (1:33am)
  • Nelson J. Torres (26, Andover) was taken into protective custody. Police pulled Torres over for erratic driving on Lowell Street. (2:23am)
  • An anonymous walk-in party complained about an extinguished fire and litter located in the wooded area behind the Town Dog Park on Main Street.  Party requested extra patrols. (6:52am)
  • A caller reported a tree down on South Street, blocking traffic  Police notified the Tree Department. (10:36am)
  • A caller reported finding a needle in the parking lot of Citizens Bank on Main Street. Police responded and retrieved needle. (1:52pm)
  • A Pouliot Place caller reported coming home to a random car parked in his driveway. Police responded. The car was delivered to the wrong address earlier in the day. A note was placed on the vehicle. Police was unable to get in contact with owner. (6:55pm)
