WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Pop Warner President Deb Smith received the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pop Warner Football Conference of Eastern Massachusetts on April 25, 2017.

Smith, a mother of five and grandmother of three, has volunteered for Wilmington Pop Warner for more than 20 years.  As President, she organizes and oversees the football program while remaining a cheerleading coach.  Her coaching career is expansive — from pop warner to high school to college to East Celebrity Elite.  She’s led squads to numerous league, conference, regional and national championships.

“Deb has dedicated her life to improving the lives of children and being an outstanding coach, mentor, mother, grandmother, and friend,” said a Pop Warner representative. “She’s been an inspiration, a role model, and an invaluable asset to pop warner, having touched so many lives, both children and adults.”
