WHS GIRLS TENNIS: Wildcats Drop 3 In A Row

WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team fell to Arlington High, 3-2, at Wilmington High on Monday, May 1:

• Wilmington sophomore Emily Hill lost to Mia Wallace, 6-1, 6-1.
• Wilmington senior Sam Maragioglio lost to Megan Carney, 6-4, 6-3.
• Wilmington sophomore Lia Kourkoutas defeated Nitya Sompunum, 6-1, 6-4.
• Wilmington senior Christina Woods and freshman Carolyn Roney defeated Maddi Moro and Alana Doyle, 6-1, 7-5.
• Wilmington juniors Lauren Field and Christina Wright lost to Reina Couti and Isabella Wolfsdorf, 6-0, 6-3.

The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team then dropped their a match-up against Winchester High, 5-0, at Wilmington High on Wednesday, May 3:

• Wilmington sophomore Emily Hill lost 6-1, 6-2.
• Wilmington senior Sam Maragioglio lost. (score not provided)
• Wilmington sophomore Lia Kourkoutas lost 6-3, 6-3.
• Wilmington senior Christina Woods and freshman Carolyn Roney lost 6-2, 6-1.
• Wilmington sophomores Krista Brown and Jess D’Arco lost 6-1, 7-5.
