POLICE LOG for April 26: 2 Out-of-Towners Face Driving Charges; Hypodermic Needles Found

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, April 26, 2017:

  • Luis Guardado (21, Nashua, NH) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. (12:34am)
  • A 2004 Nissan Maxima struck a pole on Wildwood Street. Vehicle towed. RMLD notified. No injuries noted. (1:00am)
  • Tiago Deazevedo (32, Malden) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. (9:01am)
  • Caller located a hypodermic needle in the parking lot of NeoLab on Ballardvale Street. Police retrieved for destruction. (11:09am)
  • Officer was bit by loose lab puppy, treated by the fire department, and drove self to doctors. Dog was updated on vaccinations. (2:48pm)
  • A caller reported finding a needle on the side of the Park Street bridge. Police retrieved for destruction. (4:28pm)
