WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see rain, mainly after noon. Patchy fog after 1pm. High near 49. Northeast wind 6 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
#2) The Shawsheen Tech School Committee meets at 7:30pm in the John P. Miller School Committee Room at the Tech. Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The WHS Lamplighters Drama Guild has organized a fundraiser at the Chipotle in Woburn (112 Commerce Way) from 5pm and 9pm. 50% of each sale will be donated to the Wilmington High drama club. Just bring THIS FLYER or show it on your phone.
#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is a Creative Writing Skill Building workshop at 7pm. Learn more and register HERE.
#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) will be holding its usual Tuesday programs:
- 9:00am — Zumba
- 10:30am — Aerobics
- 12:30pm — Wii Bowling

#7) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.
#8) Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks! A luncheon is served as noon. There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
