POLICE LOG for April 8: Apartment Break-In; Stolen Money; Park Curfew

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 8, 2017:

  • James M. Connor (36, Wilmington) was taken into protective custody after police received a call from a homeowner who stated the man was intoxicated and she wanted him removed from her home. (9:57am)
  • A cleaning lady believed her client’s apartment of Evergreen Drive has been broken into. Client has been in a nursing home for the past two weeks. Family member confirmed items were missing. (10:34am)
  • A caller reported five cars doing burnouts in the 4th of July Building parking lot. Police responded. Vehicles were gone upon arrival. (12:22pm)
  • Police issued 2 citations for texting while driving on Main Street. (1:27pm, 2:38pm)
  • A walk-in party reported money was stolen from her Woburn Street home. (1:29pm)
  • Police sent four individuals playing frisbee at Yentile Farm Park on their way. (9:38pm)
