POLICE LOG for April 5: Garage Broken Into; Business Vandalized; Family Of Foxes

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, April 5, 2017:

  • Police notified Mass Highway that the traffic lights at Main Street and Burlington Avenue were in flashing mode. Police directed traffic. (8:11am)
  • Police assisted a driver who locked themselves out of their vehicle with a 2.5-year-old inside. (10:38am)
  • Police installed 2 car seats during its weekly drop-in hours. (1:18pm)
  • Police responded to a customer causing a disturbance at Citizens Bank on Main Street. Police restored the peace and advised party not to return to the bank. (1:47pm)
  • A caller reported an erratic operator swerving over the yellow line on Middlesex Avenue. Police pulled vehicle over. Operator was suffering from side effects from a recent surgery. Police drove operator to his home.  Vehicle was left in the Boutwell School’s parking lot. (6:09pm)
  • A Triton Car Wash employee reported one of the vacuum stations was spray painted. (6:10pm)
  • A Clark Street man reported his garage was broken into about a week ago while he was incarcerated. (7:15pm)
  • A Salem Street caller reported a family of foxes in her neighbor’s yard over the past couple of days. (7:24pm)
