WOBURN, MA — Middlesex County middle and high school students are invited to submit original Public Service Announcements to the Annual PSA Project sponsored by Middlesex Partnerships for Youth, Inc. and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
This year’s theme is Challenge Yourself – Be Resilient. Resiliency builds courage, allows you to try something new, and promotes self-discovery and self-esteem. Learning to cope with adversity, hardship and embracing challenges as an opportunity will allow teens to grow, thrive and succeed in new ways.
Possible topics for the videos include:
- Finding creative ways to overcome challenges in your life
- Learning from your setbacks and using that knowledge to succeed
- Persevering through obstacles you may encounter
- Staying positive and resilient in the face of adversity
- Reaping the rewards that come from trying something new
This project is open to all middle school and high school students who live in or attend school in Middlesex County. Videos must be between 30 and 60 seconds long. Please see the below application for the official rules and submission requirements for the project.
The PSA Project Application can be found HERE. Entries due May 5, 2017.
