Writing Group *RR
Saturday, April 1, 9:15 am
If you love to write and seek feedback, then join our writing group. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials in advance. Open to all genres and levels. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.
“WCV: Radio for Your Eyes” *RR
Monday, April 3, 2:30 pm
Enjoy a one hour comedy show set in a radio station, WCV, which includes commercials, features, jingles, sports news, and breaking news. You will become part of the live studio audience and join in the fun. There will be giveaways and audience participation in this unique “mash-up” of FM and AM radio styles. Presented by radio enthusiasts Jeff Van Amburgh and Sally Cragin.
Cookin’ the Books *RR

Featured Cookbook: Cooking for Jeffrey by Ina Garten
If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you. Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online) and email your recipe selection to leader Lisa Crispin (lcrispin@wilmlibrary.org). Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes!
Hands-on with Microsoft Excel *RR
Wednesday, April 5, 7 pm
Join technology librarian, Brad McKenna, for a hands-on exercise with Microsoft Excel. In this class you’ll learn how to modify cells, sort and filter data, use formulas, and more. A handout for additional practice will be provided.
Wildflowers of New England *RR
Thursday, April 6, 7 pm
Ted Elliman, a plant ecologist for the New England Wild Flower Society and author of Wildflowers of New England will highlight many of the 1,000 species of flowers commonly found in the wetlands, meadows and woods of New England. Wildflowers of New England is for hikers, naturalists, gardeners, and anyone wishing to learn more about the region’s diverse wildflowers, or just wanting to know the answer to “what’s that plant?” Ted will be selling and signing copies of his book.

Drop-In Storytime

College Admission/Financial Aid Night
Monday, April 3, 7 pm
Join Middlesex Community College to learn about the college application process, the financial aid process, the transfer process and the NEW Commonwealth Commitment transfer program. Have questions? Get answers.
Teen Trivia Night *RR
Tuesday, April 4, 6:30 pm
Show us your smarts at pub-style trivia! Play against your friends, putting your pop culture knowledge to the test. The winning team walks off with prizes (and bragging rights!). Snacks are provided. Grades 6-12
Kindergarten Book Club *RR

This book club is for kindergarteners who miss storytime or those who love to be read to. We will read a book or two together, discuss it, and then do a fun activity.
Hands on Nature: Beginning Birding *RR
Wednesday, April 5, 6:30 pm
Come learn about local birds and how to start identifying them with Heather Simpson from Hands on Nature! We will start a bird journal and learn a few common bird songs. We will end the program by making some edible bird feeders to take home! Did you know that you can check out a Bird Watching kit?
