Wilmington To Participate In National Drug Take-Back Day On April 29

WILMINGTON, MA – Spring cleaning time is upon us and the Board of Health would like to remind residents that unneeded or expired medications should not be flushed down the toilet.

The Town of Wilmington is participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day with a take-back event on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10am to 2pm, at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street).

The public is invited to anonymously surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications for destruction at this time.

A kiosk will remain 24/7/365 in the building’s lobby for drop-off year-round.
