POLICE LOG for March 18: Car Fire In Driveway Damages Home; Cab Passenger Taken Into Custody

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, March 18, 2017:

  • Police assisted with a vehicle lockout at Market Basket. (7:32am)
  • Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Washington Avenue. House (garage door and vinyl siding) was also damaged due to the fire. (11:19am)
  • Police conducted fire lane enforcement at Market Basket. (12:23pm)
  • A nursing supervisor at CareOne at Wilmington reported possible past abuse issues involving a patient and a family member. (1:50pm)
  • Paxton Reid Nicholas (25, Dover, NH) was placed in protective custody. A cab driver reported Nicholas refused to pay after being a passenger. (7:38pm)
  • A Mink Run Road caller reported three men came to her house caroling. Police responded. College-aged kids were pulling a prank. (10:07pm)
