BOURNE, MA – Robert E. Phillips, 78, of Bourne, died March 16, 2017 in Falmouth Hospital, Falmouth. He was the son of the late Wendell and Anne (Warman) Phillips.
He was born in Malden, raised in Wilmington and lived in Lexington and Marblehead before moving to Bourne. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard.
Mr. Phillips worked as an Iron Worker and was a member of Local 7.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa O’Reilly of Buzzards Bay; a son, Sean Phillips of Plymouth; 3 sisters, Arlene Rivers of Dracut, Patricia Hamilton of Tewksbury and Judy Days of Dracut; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
