WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, March 10, 2017:
- Animal Control Officer assisted with a tree stuck in a tree on Hathaway Road. (8:39am)
- A caller reported numerous hypodermic needles near People’s United Bank on Main Street. Police retrieved for destruction. (9:26am)
- Police spoke with Middle School students on Bus #1 who were throwing items around and “acting up.” (11:00am)
- A walk-in party reported a lost or stolen trailer plate from a vehicle at Taylor Excavation on Main Street. (2:03pm)
- A walk-in party reported his Lexus was struck while parking in the high school parking lot. No witnesses or additional information. (4:07pm)
- A cab driver reported the person he dropped off would not pay his fare. Police responded. Passenger was unable to pay due to high level of intoxication. Fare was eventually paid and passenger was taken inside to his parents. (6:52pm)
