POLICE LOG for March 7: Customer Leaves Without Paying; Scam Call; Air Soft Rifles Raise Concern

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FOUR highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, March 7, 2017:

  • An employee at Triton Car Wash on Main Street reported a customer in a red 2016 Chevy Sonic left yesterday without playing for a detail. (10:19am)
  • A caller reported a driver parked on Salem Street and went into the woods with what appeared to be a firearm.  Police responed. Individuals were carrying air soft rifles. The driver’s vehicle registration was expired. Driver was issued a citation for expired registration and the vehicle was towed. (11:41am)
  • A Revere Avenue resident reported a scam phone call from an unknown male claiming the caller hit his vehicle, but caller had been home all day. (3:40pm)
  • Police received report of a green 2002 Toyota Camry reciving two flat tires after driving over a neighbor’s lawn on Parker Street. Juvenile driver’s mother arrived on scene to handle. (8:30pm)
