LOWELL, MA — Pauline J. (Provencher) Walker, age 99, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died March 3, 2017 at Palm Center in Chelmsford. She was the widow of Joseph F. Walker.
She was born in Lowell, January 3, 1918, daughter of the late Napoleon & Cora (Renaud) Provencher.
She worked as a secretary at AvCo in Wilmington for many years, up until her retirement at age 70.
Following retirement, she was very active with the Lowell Senior Center and very much enjoyed their activities and trips.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Martineau and her husband, Bob of Nashua; her son, Joseph Walker of Lowell; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Laramie and husband John of Nashua, and David Martineau and wife Tammy of Merrimack, NH; four great-grandchildren, Kathleen, Taylor, Alexis and Jacqueline; two sisters, Doris Mulvaney of CT and Claire Harry of CO. She was sister of the late Norby Provencher and Jeannette Akin.
There will be no visiting hours. Private burial to take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. Arrangements by the M.R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, MA.
