LOWELL, MA — Barbara A. Ralls, 86, a Lowell resident, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at a local healthcare facility following a period of declining health.
Born in Lowell on February 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Florence (Moss) Ralls.
A lifelong Lowell resident, Barbara spent many years as a resident of Rogers Hall where she enjoyed socializing with her friends and neighbors. She worked at First National Supermarkets, and also spent many dedicated years of service at Keene Lighting in Wilmington where she ultimately retired.
Barbara enjoyed NASCAR Racing and trips to Disney World with her family, but most important to Barbara was time spent with her brother, sisters and their families, especially her nieces and nephews. She also had a special fondness for cats.
Barbara leaves behind a sister-in-law, Theresa D. Ralls of Penacook, NH.; a brother-in-law, Nicholas Hamp of Cumberland Foreside, ME.; a nephew, Mark Regan of Norwood, MA.; a niece, Pamela Roy of Penacook, NH.; a nephew, Michael Ralls of Gilmanton, NH.; and a niece, Elizabeth K. Hamp of Georgetown, MA.; as well as several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was a sister of the late Norma Regan, Arthur Ralls, John Ralls and Elizabeth F. Hamp.
