POLICE LOG for February 28: 3 Drug-Related Arrests; Suspicious Activity Behind The Wheel

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 28, 2017:

• Police came across a man sleeping ins his vehicle at Town Park (Aprile Field). Police sent him on his way. (1:53am)
• Police conducted school bus enforcement at Emerald Avenue and Andover Street. No violations were observed. (6:17am)
• Police issued 2 speeding citations on Glen Road and 2 speeding citations near the Wildwood School. (8:38am)
• A resident requested extra patrols at Woburn Street and Elm Street around 8:30am due to vehicles not stopping for pedestrian in sidewalk or flashing school bus lights. (11:12am)
• Police issued 10 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (1:37pm)
• North Reading Police passed along a report of a man in a vehicle at Park Street and Woburn Street, smoking something out of tinfoil. Police were unable to locate. (3:42pm)
• A caller reported an erratic operator in a black 1998 Honda CRV pulled into the parking lot of Cumberland Farms. Police requested narcotics K9 from Burlington and conducted a search of the vehicle. 4 males were brought to the station. 1 was released to his parent with no charges. 3 of the males were arrested:
  • Paul Foster (18, Billerica) was arrested for Possession to Distribute Class C drug,  Possession of a Class C drug, Possession to Distribute Class D drug (x2), trafficking in cocaine, and misleading police officer.
  • Sean Kelly (18, Billerica) was arrested for Possession of a Class B drug.
  • Joseph R. Pineau (19, Wilmington) was arrested for Possession to Distribute Class D drug and carrying a dangerous weapon. (5:33pm)
