WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Boys Varsity & JV Hockey Teams  recently raised over $1200 for Local Heroes at its February 22 season finale vs. Tewksbury.

The team wishes to thank IBEW Local 104 and New England Utilities for their generous donation, allowing for the teams to purchase custom alternate jerseys to honor military and veterans.  The team also wants to acknowledge Dave Lafayette of SportingStore.com for creating the jerseys on such short notice.  Finally, the team thanks active and retired servicemen and servicewomen for their sacrifice.
