WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School Lamplighters Guild presents “The Lottery”
(by Shirley Jackson, adapted by Brainerd Duffield, in accordance with Dramatic Publishing Inc.) on Wednesday, March 1 at 7pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium.
Tickets cost $5 per person and will be sold at the door.
This one-act performance will be followed by a talk-back with the cast/crew to discuss the process, plus the poignancy of this story in today’s world.
The Guild will go on to perform the play at the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild (METG) One-Act Preliminaries in Chelmsford on March 4. WHS will compete against seven other schools for a chance to advance to the semi-finals.
