BELMONT, MA — Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s latest Middlesex Update raises awareness about the known risk factors for Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID), while educating parents and caregivers on ways to prevent avoidable infant deaths.
During this episode, District Attorney Ryan discusses unique perspectives of three experts, all of whom are working with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office (MDAO) in different ways to address the risks of SUIDS. The panel is composed of Anne Armstrong (Nurse Manager, Special Care Nursery, Winchester Hospital), Rick Barry (Director of Operations), Julia Reddy (Systems Specialist and Trainer, Institute for Health and Recovery), discuss the MDAO’ Safe Sleep Awareness Campaign to reduce SUID and best practices for safe infant sleep.
