WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT of highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 14, 2017:
- John Patrick Edmunds (45, Woburn) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, no inspection sticker, and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations. Edmunds was pulled over at West Street and Suncrest Avenue. (1:05am)
- Police notified Water Department of a water leak on Jaquith Road. Water was temporarily shut down in the area. (5:21am)
- A brown 2008 Dodge Caliber got stuck in a snowbank in the Wilmington Plaza. (11:23am)
- A blue 2007 Pontiac Vibe and a blue 2010 Toyota Corolla were involved in a crash on Main Street near Market Basket. No major injuries. Airbag deployment. Both vehicles towed. (12:02pm)
- Police notified DPW that school zone lights near North Intermediate were not flashing. (2:32pm)
- A caller reported a black pickup truck was passing people on the wrong side of the road on Burlington Avenue. Police were unable to locate, and notified Burlington Police. (5:28pm)
- A caller reported he hit an unknown animal on Burlington Avenue, which got up and ran into the woods. Caller was unable to describe the animal, but wanted the incident logged in case it was a dog. (6:54pm)
- A caller reported an erratic operator on Shawsheen Avenue, heading toward Tewksbury, with possible car damage. Police located debris, a license plate and beer cans on Shawsheen Avenue near the Cranbury Bog. Police notified Tewksbury Police. (11:57pm)
