POLICE LOG for February 13: OUI Arrest; Snow Complaints; Dozens of Wires & Trees Down

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are A LOT of highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, February 13, 2017:

  • Police notified DPW of a large tree limb down on Broad Street. (2:25am)
  • Police notified Verizon of a wire down on Nichols Street. (4:50am)
  • Police notified RMLD of wires arcing on Royal Street. (6:00am)
  • Police notified Mass Highway of a damaged manhole cover at Main Street and Glen Road. (7:14am)
  • A Carter Lane caller claimed a plow plowed snow into his yard and sidewalk area overnight. (7:17am)
  • Police notified DPW of a downed tree blocking roadway on Hillside Way. (7:56am)
  • Police notified Verizon of a down wire on Woburn Street. (9:12am)
  • Police spoke to management at Red Heat Tavern to tell its plowers not to plow snow into roadway and beyond fog line. (9:22am)
  • Police notified DPW of a tree branch down at entrance of Wildwood Cemetery. (9:55am)
  • A caller reported a female on Lake Street was snowblowing into the street, and snow struck her vehicle, causing her to swerve. Police were unable to locate. (10:06am)
  • Police notified RMLD of large limb down on several wires and power outage in Linda Road/Carolyn Road area. (10:10am)
  • A red 2001 Chevy Trailblazer drove through a fence on Wisser Street. Vehicle towed. No injuries. (10:51am)
  • A tree came down on a Gray 2014 Chevy Silverado on Salem Street. No injuries. Vehicle towed. (11:27am)
  • Police notified DPW of tree falling nearing tracks on Glen Road. (11:34am)
  • A caller reported a tree and wires were down in the roadway on Park Street. RMLD, Verizon and DPW notified. (12:08pm)
  • A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported a plow truck and sidewalk plow came by within moments of each other and put snow back into his driveway and onto his person. Police advised him to contact DPW. (1:16pm)
  • Joan M. Corsetti (56, Reading) was arrested for an OUI and Failure to Yield at Intersection. Corsetti was involved in a 2-vehicle crash at Woburn Street and Kenwood Avenue. (3:57pm)
  • Renan Louback Machado (26, Revere) was arrested on an outstanding warrant. (10:03pm)
