WILMINGTON, MA — Here are THIRTEEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 12, 2017:
- A caller reported the front door to an unnamed Middlesex Avenue business was smashed. It did not appear any access was gained. (12:32pm)
- Police received multiple calls of a man hole cover open on Main Street. Police notified Mass Highway. (12:33pm)
- A black 2017 Jeep Cherokee, a black 2008 Chevy Trailblazer and a green 2006 Ford Five Hundred were involved in a minor crash at Middlesex Avenue and Glen Road. One vehicle towed. (1:38pm)
- A Walnut Street caller reported two ATVs were operating in the street, pulling a child on a sled. Police responded and were unable to locate. (2:59pm)
- A party on Isabella Way pushed snow from driveway into road. Police advised party to clear it. (5:28pm)
- A caller reported a tree was down in the road at Butters Row and Factory Road. Tree was pushed to side of road. Police notified DPW for removal and to warn plows. (7:15pm)
- A caller reported a tree was down in the road on Ballardvale Street. Tree was pushed to side of road. Police notified DPW for removal. (7:46pm)
- Police received report of a dark sedan pulling sled on Boutwell Street and Burlington Avenue. Police were unable to locate. (7:51pm)
- A sedan struck a street sign and got stuck in the island at Shawsheen Avenue and Nichols Street. (8:28pm)
- An employee at Golden Ginger notified police that customer was served two drinks and does not appear in condition to be driving. Customer was voluntarily transported to Winchester Hospital. (8:40pm)
- A King St. Ext. resident reported a tree branch was resting on wires. Police notified RMLD. (10:17pm)
- State Police handled a hit and run on the 93 North Exit 40 ramp. (10:38pm)
- Police received report of a wire down across the roadway on Main Street and Cross Street. Police notified Verizon. (10:48pm)
