POLICE LOG for February 11: Teens Busted For Alcohol Possession; Counterfeit Money Reported

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, February 11, 2017:

  • Police spoke with a driver doing donuts in the Fourth of July Building’s parking lot and sent him on his way. (7:09am)
  • Police notified DPW of reports that Buttersrow Bridge was impassible. (10:12am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at the Shriners Auditorium. (12:09pm)
  • A Jones Avenue resident reported receiving a possible scam call involving chimney sweeping services. (1:33pm)
  • Lucci’s owner believes counterfeit money was used. (3:26pm)
  • Police responded to reports of 4 vehicles doing donuts in the K1 Speed parking lot on Fordham Road. Police advised operators and sent them on their way. (8:12pm)
  • Police issued a ticket for fire lane violation in front of Game Stop in the Wilmington Plaza. (8:45pm)
  • Police issued summons to Justin M. Denorscia (20, Wilmington) and 3 juveniles for possession of liquor under the age of 21.  The individuals were in two vehicles in the K1 Speed parking lot. The juveniles were released to their parents. Alcohol and Class D were confiscated and brought back to the station for destruction. (10:25pm)
