POLICE LOG for February 10: 2 Wilmington Men Arrested On OUIs; Windshield Smashed With Tire Iron

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIFTEEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, February 10, 2017:

  • Police responded to a man sleeping in a vehicle in the Shell gas station on Main Street. Situation checked OK — man was an Uber driver catching a nap. (1:08am)
  • Police issued a verbal warning to a driver on Main Street for failure to remove large amount of snow of vehicle. (8:33am)
  • Police assisted driver of a black 2002 Honda Accord who locked herself out of her vehicle at Cumberland Farms on Main Street. (9:44am)
  • A Cresent Street party reported a lost passport. (10:06am)
  • Manager at Panera Bread reported discovering three $30 counterfeit bills. (10:13am)
  • Timothy Paul Roy (53, Billerica) was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property valued at $250 plus, disturbing the peace, and threatening to commit a crime. Roy was allegedly a disgruntled employee at Shell gas station on Main Street who struck a windshield with a tire iron, then drove off north on Route 38. (10:17am)
  • A resident at CareOne in Wilmington reported a missing ring believed to be stolen within the past week. (12:40pm)
  • Police notified Water Department of a water main break at UniFirst Corporation on Jonspin Road. (1:36pm)
  • Heavenly Donuts store owner reported possible fake bills. (1:51pm)
  • Police issued 3 speeding tickets at Wilmington Middle School. (2:10pm)
  • Police notified DPW that a stop sign in the Wilmington Crossing Plaza was down. (4:38pm)
  • A caller reported a past hit and run from around 2pm on Beacon Street involving a FedEx truck. (7:20pm)
  • Manager of K1 Speed reported 4 vehicles doing donuts in the parking lot. (9:00pm)
  • Kevin P. Blair (53, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and speeding. (11:25pm)
  • Christopher Anthony Ramsdell (35, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor (3rd Offense), leaving scene of personal injury, negligent operation of motor vehicle, failure to yield, marked lanes violation and leaving scene of property damage.  Ramsdell allegedly struck another vehicle on Middlesex Avenue, drove down Clark Street where he struck a pole, and was eventually placed into custody in the St. Thomas parking lot. (11:48pm)
