POLICE LOG for February 8: Pot Hole Causes $600 In Damage; 15 Parking Tickets Given At MBTA Lot

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are TWELVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, February 8, 2017:

  • A silver 2011 Ford F350 and a blue 2012 Subaru SE were involved in a crash on Federal Street. Street was temporarily closed. No injuries reported. 1 vehicle towed. Police drove one of the drivers home to North Reading. (6:37am)
  • A Morningside Drive resident reported water was leaking into her basement. Police notified DPW. (7:06am)
  • Police issued a citation for failure to remove snow/ice from windshield on Adams Street. (8:48am)
  • A walk-in party reported while pumping gas at AL Prime, he had selected the low grade type gas and it automatically switched to mid-grade gas. He made the attendant aware and stated it was the second time it occurred. (10:41am)
  • A caller reported her grandmother was contacted by a party claiming to be a Boston Police detective requesting her and her granddaughters’ names. The caller did not give out any information and the party hung up when questioned further. (11:54am)
  • Police issued 15 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (1:48pm)
  • Caller reported the back windshield of his vehicle was smashed while parked at the Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street. Police unable to determine cause. (4:17pm)
  • A walk-in party reported she struck a pothole on Main Street yesterday causing $600 in damage. (5:12pm)
  • Police issued 7 speeding tickets on Aldrich Road and Butters Row. (6:22pm)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred at Route 62 and the 93 North Exit 40 ramp. No injuries noted. All vehicles towed. (7:19pm)
  • Fire Department responded to 3 parties stuck in an elevator at the high school. (8:14pm)
  • Joseph M. Morrow (24, Boston) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. (11:14pm)
