Town To Offer Free Flu Shots To Wilmington Residents On February 10

WILMINGTON, MA — The Town of Wilmington Health Department is offering another Town Wide Flu Clinic.  Vaccines will be available to Wilmington residents ages 5 & up this Friday, February 10, from 3pm to 5pm, in the Nurse’s Office at Town Hall (121 Glen Road).

The vaccine is free of charge.  Remember to bring your insurance cards.  The vaccine will be available even if you do not have insurance.  Please do not arrive earlier than the specified time.  Anyone allergic to eggs, or egg products, should not receive this vaccine.  Anyone with a fever should delay getting vaccinated.  All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Influenza activity is rising in the U.S. at this time. Outpatient visits for influenza-like-illness are above the national baseline and is expected to continue rising during the coming weeks. It’s not too late to get vaccinated.
