WORCESTER, MA — The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Brian Pickett, of Wilmington, has earned a coveted spot on the Assumption College Men’s Ice Hockey team. Pickett, Class of 2018, is competing during the Greyhounds’ 2016-17 season.
“Our team has had an eventful season so far,” said Lance Brady, who is in his ninth season coaching the Assumption College men’s hockey team.
According to Coach Brady, the team, despite battling many injuries, is still poised to make the playoffs and will rely heavily on starting goaltender Nick Commesso as they move forward.
The team is led by senior captains Ryan Gomez, Kevin Murphy and assistant captain Nick Fenuccio.
