WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 5, 2017:
- A caller reported a mattress fell off the back of a truck on 93 South between Exits 42 and 41. Caller followed the truck to Lucci’s Supermarket Plaza. Police notified State Police to handle. (5:10am)
- Fire Department issued 2 burn permits. (11:10am)
- An anonymous caller reported 2 males in a black pick-up truck at Speedway on Main Street engaging in possible drug activity. Vehicle was gone by the time police arrived. (12:05pm)
- Manager at Sonic reported a hostile customer causing a disturbance. Police responded, spoke to both parties, and restored the peace. Customer agreed to go to a different restaurant. (3:32pm)
- A caller reported a male, approximately mid-twenties, passed out in a vehicle in the Metro at Wilmington Station parking lot for an extended period of time. Man seemed impaired when he awoke and drove away towards Burlington on Route 62. Police were unable to locate. (5:07pm)
