POLICE LOG for February 3: OUI Arrest; Public Urination; Counterfeit Money Passed

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, February 3, 2017:

  • Jeffrey C. Ferreira (32, Tewksbury) was arrested for OUI Liquor, marked lanes violation, and speeding. Ferreira was pulled over on Main Street near Agganis Driving School. (1:08am)
  • Police issued 5 speeding tickets on Woburn Street. (8:24am)
  • A Carter Lane resident reported she received the “Can You Hear Me?” telephone scam from 978-988-6171. She stated the only thing she may have confirmed was her name, but shared no personal information. She wanted the incident logged. (9:04am)
  • A Cumberland Farms employee requested an officer due to counterfeit money being passed today between 6am and 10am, and another time earlier in the week. (11:50am)
  • Police responded to a man urinating on train station property on Middlesex Avenue. (2:22pm)
  • A 4-vehicle crash occurred at Lowell Street and Eames Street. No injuries noted. (2:35pm)
