WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, February 2, 2017:
- James M. Magliozzi (47, Wilmington) was issued a summons of marked lanes violation, license not in possession, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. (6:52am)
- A Salem Street resident reported cars constantly blowing through red signals of school bus each morning. Caller concerned for students safety and would like extra patrols. (7:35am)
- A gray 2015 Jeep Wrangler and a gray 2011 Ford PK F150 were involved in a crash at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. Possible unspecified injuries. One vehicle towed. (10:40am)
- Police issued 3 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (1:17pm)
- A Shawsheen Avenue caller located a gun in her basement from the previous owner. She requested an officer to retrieve. (1:25pm)
- School bus took down on cable wire on Miller Road. Police notified Comcast, who had a crew in the area. (1:53pm)
- A caller reported a green Mazda operated by a young male (late teens/early 20’s) with blond hair was speeding on King Street and nearly struck her daughter at the bus stop. Caller located vehicle, now parked at a home. Police responded and spoke with driver and his mother. (3:00pm)
- A neighbor reported he believes he saw a juvenile enter a Glendale Circle home through a window while wearing a mask. Police responded. Situation checked OK. Granddaughter’s friend came to pick up her up and knocked on window to get her attention. (3:01pm)
- Scott J. Anderson (41, Tewksbury) was issued a summons for uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. Anderson was pulled over at Shawsheen Avenue and Richmond Street. (5:02pm)
- Fire responded to a small fire at Heavenly Donuts on Main Street. Fire stated from a socket near a toaster. There were no flames. (6:07pm)
