POLICE LOG for February 1: Dunkin Donuts Employee Reports Possible Drunk Driver; SUV Strikes Fence

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, February 1, 2017:

  • Police conducted bus enforcement on Emerald Avenue. No violations noted. (6:01am)
  • A blue 2008 Ford Escape crashed into a fence on Lowell Street. No injuries noted. 2 juveniles will be late to high school due to accident. Police notified school. (7:45am)
  • Police noted gravel has been spilled along Lowell Street in front of Sonny’s Mobil on the Run. Police notified Mass State Highway. (10:25am)
  • A Dunkin Donuts employee reported a female appeared to be intoxicated with a young child unrestrained in the backseat. Police were unable to locate. (11:02am)
  • Police issued 13 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (12:48pm)
  • Police installed 4 safety seats for residents during weekly drop-in hours. (12:49pm)
  • A black 2008 Mercedes LL ML350 and a gray 2012 Toyota Corolla were involved in a crash on Route 125 and the 93 North Exit 41 ramp. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. State Police handled scene. Police assisted with traffic. (9:46pm)
