POLICE LOG for January 25: Graffiti Discovered At Assisting Living Facility; Home Health Aide Stealing?

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, January 25, 2017:

  • A caller reported graffiti was spray painted on a fence at Windsor Place at West Street. (8:00am)
  • A Deming Way Ext. caller reported it appears a vehicle drove over a sidewalk and lawn. Police noted there was no significant damage.(8:32am)
  • A gray 2014 Toyota Corolla and a red 2015 Toyota Corolla were involved in a minor crash on Lowell Street. One driver was cited for failure to use caution while stopping. Both vehicles were towed. No injuries noted. (10:46am)
  • A Horseshoe Lane caller reported a health aide had been taking items from their residence throughout the fall. (11:14am)
  • Police notified DPW over a low-hanging tree limb on West Street.  DPW removed the limb. (11:38am)
  • Police issued 8 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (12:37pm)
  • A caller reported the driver of a vehicle parked the wrong way on a Park Street sidewalk and walked into the woods. Police spoke with the driver who was looking for spots to hunt. Police advised the man of the bylaws prohibiting hunting and sent him on his way. (2:09pm)
  • A Glen Road caller reported a vehicle was parked in front of the residence, shining headlights into their home. Resident asked the operator to move along or turn off headlights, but they refused. Police responded and located the vehicle on Lawrence Street. Vehicle was an Agganis driving school car. (8:04pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a past road rage incident from Monday at 2:45pm on Glen Road and Gandalf Way. (8:57pm)
