WILMINGTON REC REMINDERS: Register Today For 4-Day Maine Getaway; 9-Day Trip To Rockies

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Recreation Department has recently released additional information about some of its upcoming overnight trip offerings:

St. Andrews by-the-Sea and Campobello Island

Enjoy a four day getaway that has it all.  Connect with nature on a guided “moose safari” in the mountains of Maine.  Visit the charming old-world settlement of St. Andrews by-the-Sea and be captivated by its unmatched scenery and rich colonial history.  Reflect on the serenity of Campobello Island and visit the summer home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his family.  Unwind at the five star, world-class Algonquin Resort Hotel.  There’s a bit of something for everyone on this two country motor coach tour.

Trip includes motorcoach transportation, one-night hotel accommodations at the Jordan River Resort at Sunday River, two nights accommodations at the Algonquin Resort, six meals, “Moose Safari”, guided tour of St. Andrews by-the-Sea, baggage handling, trip escort, all taxes and gratuities except driver and escort.

Cost for this trip is $795 per person double occupancy with other room categories available.

Colorado Rockies & Rails

Jon us for a nine day/eight night tour of Colorado and Utah. You will traverse the Rocky Mountains and explore four national parks along the way.  Each day you will find the beauty of nature in the form of Alpine lakes, towering peaks and beautiful meadows.

Highlights include Rocky Mountain National Park, Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, Canyonlands National Park, Spruce Tree Cliff Dwellings, Mesa Verde National Park, two rail journeys, Garden of the Gods and more.

Trip includes roundtrip airfare, transfers, hotel accommodations, motor coach transportation, twelve meals, admissions and sightseeing per itinerary, professional Tour Director and more.

Cost for this trip is $2,500 per person double occupancy with other room categories available.
