WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, January 19, 2017:
- Police received report of a resident in his Burlington Avenue yard shooting at squirrels with a riffle-style gun. Police advised the resident of the town’s bylaws. (8:04am)
- A caller reported high school students drove past a stopped school bus on Loumac Road between 7:20pm and 7:30pm. (8:31am)
- Curtis Allan Hefts (27, Everett) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (11:07am)
- A 4-vehicle crash occurred on Burlington Avenue. Police closed a portion of the street following the accident. Fire Department obtained 6 patient refusals. Only one was transported with an unspecified injury. One of the operators was issued a written warning for failure to yield to the right of way. All vehicles were towed. (6:52pm)

- An Arlene Avenue resident reported their front window was just broken, noting a small dark sedan was seen leaving the area at the time. Police responded and confirmed window was broken by a food container that was thrown. Units checked the area, but did not locate anything suspicious. (10:53pm)
