WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, January 17, 2017:
- Leo M. Leitner (21, Watertown) was arrested for unarmed robbery and a firearm-armed home invasion. Daniel E. Reilly (23, Watertown) was arrested for unarmed robbery. Arianna L. Casterlin (19, Wakefield) was arrested for unarmed robbery. A caller reported 3 individuals entered her Brattle Street home looking for her son. 1 was carrying a firearm. The individuals were described as 2 white males and 1 white female wearing dark hoodies. 1 male had a scraggily beard and the other male and female had their faces covered. Police put a BOLO out on their vehicle. The individuals appear to have been captured quickly, possibly in Watertown. (2:01am)
- A school van broke down on the 93 North Exit 40 on-ramp. Police responded. School sent second van to transport students. (8:32am)
- A gray 2011 Honda Accord struck a pole on Federal Street. The RMLD pole was moved slightly. Minor damage to a mailbox. Vehicle towed. Unspecified injury. Citation issued to operator for sending and receiving electronic messages. (9:16am)
- Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the CVS parking lot. (11:19am)
- 8 parking citations were given out at the MBTA Parking Lot at Wilmington Center. (11:31am)
- A Border Avenue resident reported dirt bikes going up and down the road. Bikes were gone by the time police arrived. (2:50pm)
- An Eleanaor Drive caller reported finding a cup containing dog feces in his mailbox. Caller wanted the incident logged. (6:42pm)
